The most critical factor in choosing a wire deck is the weight and overall dimensions of the products being stored on your pallet racking or storage rack. Unless specifically engineered for this purpose, a standard wire deck is not intended to directly bear the full weight of an entire pallet (point load) on your storage rack - doing so may cause deformation or even collapse under pressure, posing significant safety hazards. This is one of the most common mistakes we encounter with pallet racking and wire deck setups on-site.
